Once you complete your studies with CIMA, you’ll become a CIMA member, get the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation and join the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (the Association), the world’s largest professional body of accountants.

The CIMA examination has been categorized into four levels:
The ceretificate level which awards a CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting is made up of four papers and is the Fundamental level.
The operational level is all about implementing short term decision-making. It mirrors the work of first-line managers and their teams. It is made up of three papers plus an integrated case study paper and awards a CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting.
The management level considers analysis to get to performance success. It reflects the work of middle managers. The Management level is also made up of three papers plus an integrated case study paper and awards a CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting.
The strategic level is about making long-term strategic decisions, and providing resources to implement those decisions successfully. Usually, senior management takes on this level.
The final level includes three papers and a Case Study Examination based on pre-seen and unseen material. This level qualifies you for the CGMA designation holder and also CIMA membership.
